HAPPY FRIDAY, babes! We made it through the long week!
I don’t know about you… but when you have sick kids, the week feels approximately 9,973 times longer than normal ;). Can I get an amen from all the mamas out there?!

These high waisted jeans. There’s a reason you’ve seen every single fashion blogger in the world talking about them lately. They have a high rise, they suck you in and lift you up in all the right places, you can actually bend over and move in them, and they make your butt look good. Oh, and they’re under $40 bucks. Seriously, what more could you want in a pair of jeans?!?! I’m obsessed. I pick them out of my closet over the expensive pairs hanging there, every day of the week. Trust me when I say, you need these.

I always try to make some type of veggie with our dinner. My kids favorite way to eat veggies is roasted – pretty basic concept where you chop up the veggies, toss in oil, sprinkle with some sea salt and pepper, and roast on a sheet pan at 415 for about 15 minutes. Well, this took that simple recipe, and kicked it up about 19 notches in flavor, without adding any difficulty at all! Seriously the BEST brussel sprouts I have EVER had in my life! These are a must try!!!! (Photo and recipe by I Wash, You Dry.

Do you guys like to read for pleasure?? Honestly, it’s always been one of my favorite things. Random fact about me – I started reading at the age of 3 (wtf, I know!), read the Little House on the Prairie books at the age of 5, and literally never looked back. But as a mom, I feel like it’s the absolute last thing I make time for. Probably because I’m the type of person that once I start a book, I get so engrossed in it, I can’t stop until it’s done!
I recently saw this book somewhere on someone’s Instagram. I can’t even remember who. I just know that they said it was in the top 5 books that they had ever read. So I was like, ok, that’s it, and I clicked “purchase” on amazon that night! As a little background – I LOVE historical fiction. Especially ones that have anything to do with the Nazi Germany time period. I don’t know what it is exactly, but I am FASCINATED with that era. I’m only halfway through this book, but I just couldn’t wait to share it with y’all. It’s that good! I just read that they’re making a movie out of it, and I can’t wait!! Let me know on Instagram if you end up reading this too!
That’s it! I’m off to finish this book… ‘cuz you know me, and there will be no stopping until it’s done ;)! Can’t wait to hear what you think of my faves from this week. What do you want to see next week?!?! I need suggestions, so drop a comment below and help me out!!
